When it fits.
Build when the result matters and off-the-shelf tools can't hold the rules behind it. If buying, configuring or connecting a product gets you there, we'll say so, and that's usually where we start.
The result, agreed up front.
We model the people, decisions, data and exceptions behind the process, then agree what success looks like: the baseline, the measure and the date.
First result, live.
Milestones and acceptance are tied to that result, and scope and price are set before work begins. You see working software early, so wrong assumptions get fixed while they're cheap.
Your systems and data.
We connect to the tools you already run, and plan migration properly: mapping, validation, reconciliation and cutover.
After launch.
A clean handover with documentation and access, on IP terms agreed up front. Or we run it for you under a Run agreement and keep improving the result.

Questions
When does custom software make sense?
When the result is worth it and existing products can't meet its essential rules. Our first step shows whether a build is the better route.
Can you work with our existing tools?
Yes. We check the interfaces, access and data first, then connect what should stay and replace only what needs to go.
Who owns the software?
Ownership, IP and handover are set out in the agreement before work starts.
